Beginner’s Guide To Free For All Sites (FFA's)
by: Valerie Garner
For those of you who don't know what an FFA site is, it's basically a website where you can post a link/add to your website for free. Generally it is also posted to many other sites at the same time and hopefully somebody sees your link...free advertising in other words. This also creates backlinks to your website. When you post a link, you are also giving permission (whether you know it or not) to receive confirmation e-mails back from the site owner.
What seems to happen though is many people see this as free advertising and get angry when, not only do they not see a flood of sales come pouring in, but they start receiving other people's offers. I know when the first time it happened to me, I couldn't figure out what was going on and was frustrated at the results.
Let's back up a moment and look at the bigger picture of what an FFA site is and its TRUE purpose. The true purpose of an FFA site is for the owner of that site to promote his/her business. It's really not just because he's a nice guy giving people a free advertising place.
(If it were such a goldmine for pulling in sales, he would be doing it himself). That is just the bait, getting people to his site to post their links, thinking they are getting free advertising, so he can respond with "confirmation" of your link, and his business ad.
Those confirmation e-mails are NOT spam. You had to agree to receive them in order to post your link. Who are reading these ads anyway? So is posting to FFA's a total waste of time? Not necessarily, you do get an occasional sale, people do go back to post their links and sometimes take a quick look through the links to see what's there while they're at it.
So what's the answer? Get your own FFA site to promote your business. There are many excellent resources out there. I have found from personal experience however, that many of the services offering FFA's sites, offer a free version or a paid upgrade. The phrase "You get what you pay for" comes to mind with these. I've used several kinds and found that the paid upgrades more than paid for themselves in sales. Shop around however to compare between companies.
You can promote any product through this method; information products, crafts, vitamins, whatever. You could have the very best on the entire internet, but if nobody sees your offer, it's not going to get the sales you desire. It takes traffic to get sales. These sites are options for driving those numbers to your site. Free classified ads sites are also in this same category with the same purpose and can be worth pursuing.

Nowadays, it seems that everyone and his cousin have taken to blogging. This form of online self-expression has slowly but steadily taken over the World Wide Web to become somewhat of a phenomenon in recent years. Some people use blogs as their personal journals, some may see them as an outlet for their creative work, and others may just want their own personal place in cyberspace to share thoughts and ideas. Now, a quick question for the Internet businessman. If you have a blog, can you use it to boost your site's exposure and drive more traffic to it? A blog is great for sharing ideas and posting about things you like or don't like, but can a blog help your online business succeed? The answer is a definite YES. Your blog can do wonders for your website, but it all depends on the way you utilize its potential power. I'm going to teach you a tried and proven method that has been effective for other website owners, and this method is applicable for any type of blog. You will just need a lot of creativity and some time to make it work. First thing you have to keep in mind is that most blogs on the Web have a community feel to them. You may think that your blog is your own, since you're the one who installed and developed it. And you may be right. But your blog is also connected to other blogs on the same site. You may also be connected to other blogs that are using the same blogging software as you. This situation guarantees that sooner or later, a person will land on your blog and be able to see all that you have to say. This can also mean that your blog is now getting free advertising within the blogging community. I don't think you need me to tell you how beneficial this can be for your site's traffic. However you do have to keep in mind what you're posting as your blog's content. If all you're doing is making posts that promote your products or your business, then you're dead. Believe me, that is not the recommended way to use your blog. Have you seen the Internet lately? It's already overflowing with loads of advertisements for products and services. Be different. Your visitors need a good reason to keep coming back to your blog. Use it to give expert and knowledgeable information about your line of work to your readers. If you're selling a product on your site, talk about it on your blog, and don't just post a measly advertising blurb. Let's say you're selling power tools on your website. You can write reviews and other useful posts about the kinds of tools you have on your site. What you're doing is providing some insight for your potential customers about the tools you're selling. These blog posts will then be able to generate confidence in your readers and encourage them to actually buy the products. Another advantage of having a blog is that it makes it easier for interested buyers to get access to the seller (that's you). Usually, readers of a particular blog post are allowed to leave comments on what they've just read. For example, you've just finished a review for the new Ajax power drill. Whenever a reader comes across it and has a question regarding that product, he or she can easily leave a comment. You can then see the questions and post your answers. See? You can now connect with your readers and potential customers personally. This make you much more approachable, as compared to the faceless entity behind the impersonal commercial website. In addition, your readers will also have the option of subscribing to your blog feeds via RSS or to your newsletters, so they can be immediately notified about any new posts you make. If you have established a reputable standing in your niche, a long list of eager readers will soon be waiting for your next post, and lots more will be coming to your website.

Free Article Gets 1000+ Hits Daily by: Kerry Mulherin
In trying to make the most of this influx of revenue sharing opportunities all over the web, the question I am asked the most is: "how did you know what to write about?" The short answer is, I needed money for my research and I am passionate about my cause. So I read other people's posts about making cash, joined sites that were going to share some of their cash with me, then I wrote about how I made it when I started getting it. Everyone wants to know about your money, online or off. Mind you, there are certain topics I really love to write about and would prefer to do it more, but they don't all convert to funds. Getting 1000 or more page views per day isn't hard if you have something simple that people can use right now, today. Everyone wants the 'how-to', so give it to them, free. Don't keep it to yourself whatever you do. This is precisely what everyone is searching for and if you keep it to yourself the money will run out very soon. You've heard the expression 'what goes around , comes around' well it's true! We used to offer e-books, and although there are some great e-books around, nobody seems to want them anymore, free or not. There is no point putting everything you know about making money in your book and trying to sell it for $5 online, when the blog waing in the search box next is posting it right there for the world to see. He's not selling it, but he just got a page view, maybe an ad was clicked, and someone told 5 friends where to go and see it too. Most people will see an informative page and begin reading, then it drags on for so long they scroll to the bottom. As soon as they see the Credit Card links the y will X the page off immediatley. Free really does pay. When writing articles.blogs and poems for money, not only must you use simple keywords, but you should also make sure to implement those words carefully throught your article. The number of times one can use the same word repeatedly looks very boring and makes your article dull. Conduct your keyword search by going to google and searching for a keyword tool. If you don't have a paid version there are many freebies out there easy enough to find. When looking for the appropriate keywords for your article, you will need to use synonyms to eliminate the bore factor. Case in point: the word can be used quite frequently since people who are wanting it won't notice it peppered all over your page if they expect you're going to show them how to get some. However, using related words and phrases will disguise this while allowing you to still make your point. Those of us who are statstically inclined will tell you that 1.5 is the optimum useage for these words throughout your article. I am not one of those people, I just keep doing what works - another old expression 'if it aint broke, don't try and fix it'.
